SFX YOUTH SOCCER for 4 - 7 YEAR OLDS.

Since 1984, SFX Soccer has been dedicated to fostering good sportsmanship while teaching the game of soccer. Our volunteer coaches provide positive instruction while providing a fun, safe environment that builds community and teamwork around soccer.

SFX Youth Sports is delighted to have our new volunteer director of the soccer program, Coach JP Devesin.  

Coach Devesin is a member of the Metropolitan Athletic Congress and the U.S.T.F.  Assistant Varsity Coach of Boys Soccer 2003 City and State Soccer Championship. He also runs the highly successful Red Dragons Athletic programs. 

The SFXYS Soccer season will  start on Saturday September 11th, 2010.  It will run thru Saturday, November 20th 2010.  All games will be held in Prospect Park.  

The registration fee is only $80.00

We will have THREE divisions:

Rookie Division 4 year olds
Pee Wee Division 5-6 year olds
Junior Division 7-8 year olds

PLEASE REMEMBER TO CHECK YOUR EMAIL & THIS SITE FOR UPDATES ON THE UNIFORM DISTRIBUTION IN THE WEEKS & MONTHS TO FOLLOW.

We meet at 10 am and play until 12 noon in the outfields of the baseball fields nearest the 9th Street / Prospect Park West entrance into Prospect Park.

Just walk right into the park & cross Park Drive.

The fields are located in the LONG MEADOW on the right-hand side.

Weather permitting, we will play every Saturday from September 11th thru November 20TH, with the exception of Columbus Day Weekend (Oct. 9-10).

We may also have two Sunday games scheduled. Please click on the scheduled tab in the coming months for the official schedule

In case of inclement weather call the SFX Soccer Hotline: 888-739-1047 (press 2 for Soccer info). We will make a decision to play by 9am

As a reminder, SFX will supply sox, shorts and jerseys for all the players, but they will need their own sneakers.ONLY Sneakers are permitted as of September 2009.

You must also buy shin guards (these are required by law). Both are available for sale at most sporting goods stores, the most convenient may be Sport Prospect at 7th Ave. and 11th St. in Park Slope.

Evening Hours are 6pm to 8pm on MONDAY – THURS ONLY!!

Weekend hours are: Saturday 10am to 12pm ONLY     Sunday 9am – 12pm ONLY.
