Spring Baseball Information
The season will start on April 14th and conclude in mid to late June.
Teams will be formed in Mid-March. Your child’s coach will call you after March 20th. If you do not get a phone call from your coach please call the SFX Hotline # at the bottom of this page or go to the CONTACTS Tab and email the appropriate division coordinator.
There are seven baseball divisions for players ranging in age from 4 to 17 years of age. Players are assigned to divisions based on age, so that players of comparable skill level play one another in fair competition. Please consult the birthday chart to register for the correct division. If a child is more skilled than other players of the same age, that player may “play up,” that is, play in a division with older children at the discretion of the SFX Youth Sports Board of Directors. Playing up is discouraged because field dimensions may be too large for younger players, which increases the chance of injury in both the short and long term.
